Station 06 · Pantry · first on Arc

The first pantry on Arc.
Stock any pool.

Until now, liquidity on Arc went in one launchpad at a time, through whichever page made the pool. The pantry is the first place on Arc where anyone can stock any Uniswap v4 pool on the chain from one counter, $c00k first. Pick the pool, type one side, and the other is worked out from the pool’s price at the block. The position is minted by Uniswap’s own PositionManager, so the chain counts it exactly like the launch liquidity, and it is yours to take back out.

Your shelf

Connect a wallet to see the positions it holds on Uniswap v4 on Arc, made here or anywhere else.

How a deposit is made

01

The pool is read at the block

The engine reads the pool’s price and depth from Uniswap’s StateView on Arc, rebuilds its key from the index and checks the key hashes to the pool id before anything else happens. A pool whose key does not check out is not offered.

02

One side typed, both sides worked out

A position holds the two tokens in the proportion the price and the range decide. You type one, the other is computed with Uniswap’s own liquidity maths, and each side gets a maximum a little above it so a moving price reverts the deposit instead of taking more.

03

Exact approvals, nothing left standing

Each token is approved to Permit2 for exactly that maximum, and Permit2 lets the PositionManager draw it for one hour. There is no unlimited allowance anywhere in the flow.

04

Simulated from your address

Before your wallet is asked to mint, the mint is run on Arc from your own address. If the chain would refuse it, this page says why and asks for nothing.

05

Minted by Uniswap, owned by you

The position is a Uniswap v4 NFT in your wallet, counted by the PoolManager like every other position, including the $c00k launch liquidity. It shows up under your shelf and in any v4 interface, and you take it out from here in quarters, halves or whole.

What the pantry will not stock

  • A pool whose hook runs on add or remove liquidity. Such a hook can refuse a withdrawal or take a cut of it.
  • A pool against Arc’s native unit. It is the same dollar as USDC with other decimals, and mixing the two misprices a deposit by a factor of a trillion.
  • A pool with no liquidity. Its price is whatever its creator set, and the first deposit into it is a gift to the first arbitrageur.

What to know before stocking

  • A position is worth what the two tokens are worth. When the price moves, it ends up holding more of the side that fell. That is impermanent loss, and it is real.
  • The $c00k pool’s swap fee is set by its hook and is zero today, so a position there earns nothing from swaps. What it adds is depth.
  • A position can be locked in the pantry’s locker for a term you choose, or forever. Nobody can take it out early, you included, and its swap fees stay yours. Locks are public, so holders can check them.
  • Keep a little USDC for gas. On Arc gas is paid in the same dollar you may be depositing.
